Wayfinding is made up of five tracks that continue DOX trio’s distinctive experimentation at the meeting point of improvisation, composition, and production, without settling comfortably into any one of them. Wayfinding builds on and further explores ideas first explored in the group’s innovative and exciting 2025 debut Drowned Circuits (Efpi, FP055). A collective sense of openness, inquisitiveness, and interplay remains yet an even stronger sense of shape and direction is clear, the chemistry and understanding between the three musicians developing even further during live performances in both Switzerland and UK.
