MoonMot

MoonMot is a UK/Swiss collaboration featuring myself, Cath Roberts (bari sax), Simon Petermann (trombone), Oli Kuster (keys), Seth Bennett (double bass) and Johnny Hunter (drums). In 2017 we performed at Jazzwerkstatt Festival in Bern, Switzerland and at the London Jazz Festival. We completed a seven date tour of Switzerland in March 2019, which included a performance at the Bejazz Transnational in Bern.

On 14th February 2020 we released our debut album ‘Going Down The Well’ on Swiss label Unit Records and toured the UK and Mainland Europe in February and March 2020. The album is available to buy on our bandcamp page.

In September 2021 we worked on new material during a five day residency in the Swiss Alps before going into the studio to record our second album at the RSI Radiotelevisione studios in Lugano. This will be released in 2023 on the Enja Yellowbird label.
