Saxoctopus @ the Vortex!
It was the first outing for this new saxophone octet last night at the Vortex, augmenting Trio Riot’s set at the end of the evening. Two baritones (Cath Roberts, Colin Webster), three tenors (Sam Andreae, Tom Ward, Rachel Musson), three altos (myself, Mette Rasmussen, Julie Kjaer) and not forgetting Trio Riot drummer David Meier.
