New Horizons

In a world riddled with uncertainty—shifting geopolitics, looming environmental collapse, and economic instability—New Horizons dares to remain defiantly optimistic. The track’s soaring sax melodies and gritty Rhodes progressions redirect our gaze from catastrophe toward the promise of something better. It’s a call to dream, to imagine, and to keep moving forward despite the chaos.

DOX is a duo with me and Swiss keyboardist Oli Kuster plus special guest Berlin-based Swiss drummer Xavier Kaeser. DOX merges jazz with modular electronics to create fractured ambient landscapes, free improvisation, and glitch-laden beats.

Really looking forward to a packed July of live music with some incredible musicians! Things kick off on 6th July at the iconic Love Supreme Festival with Atmosfear, the legendary Brit Funk band. Then, to celebrate the release of our new album (out this July), I’ll be performing with a brand new improvising quartet featuring John Pope, John Garner, and Simon Roth in London, and Christian Alderson in Newcastle, with gigs North and South. On 23rd July, Loz Speyer’s new Sun Ra project—featuring members of his Inner Space band plus special guests—makes its debut at The Vortex. To round things off, I’ll be heading to Switzerland to play with Clemens Kuratle’s quintet YDIVIDE at BeJazzSommer, performing music from our latest album The Default, out now on Intakt Records.
