Looking forward to playing Clemens Kuratle’s compositions with Ydivide, having a synth/improv mash up with DOX & playing some Brit funk with Atmosfear in Kings Cross London to finish (just near where this photo was taken).
Drowned Circuits by DOX is out today on Efpi Records.
DOX is a duo with Swiss keyboardist Oli Kuster and UK saxophonist Dee Byrne with special guest Berlin-based Swiss drummer Xavier Kaeser. DOX merges jazz with modular electronics to create fractured ambient landscapes, free improvisation, and glitch-laden beats.
Dee Byrne: Alto saxophone, effects
Oli Kuster: Synth, Rhodes, effects

Drowned Circuits (eponymous single released with album)
A full-spectrum meltdown—dissonance, data overload, and distorted synths collide with urgent, restless intensity.
This is the descent—into disorder, into the psyche’s shadow realm where logic unravels and instinct takes over. Edgy synth textures, pounding drums, and warped saxophones swirl in a sonic labyrinth. Drowned Circuits is both chaos and catharsis: a fever dream of modern life where meaning flickers in the noise, and survival demands intuition. (Watch video on YouTube)
