Dee Byrne is a member of Ydivide, a European quintet led by Swiss drummer and composer Clemens Kuratle. The ensemble features a stellar international lineup: Elliot Galvin (piano), Chris Guilfoyle (guitar), Lukas Traxel (bass), and Dee Byrne (alto saxophone), performing Kuratle’s intricately crafted, genre-crossing compositions.
The band recorded its debut album in Zurich in November 2021, released in August 2022 on Intakt Records. Their second album, recorded in Cologne in February 2023, was released in February 2025, also on Intakt.
